We appreciate your cooperation in the production of the Krajood bags. Thank you very much.

While organizing the ongoing projects and future plans, I would like to list up the items to discuss.

  • [Ongoing] B4 Vertical Bag

Mrs. Junko Okauchi (※1 photo attached). is the customer who ordered B4 bag.

She is a music artist and belong to “The Cultural and Arts Promotion Association of Nishi-Tokyo City” [NCAP]  (with 90 individual citizens and groups) aims to promote music, art, handmade products, including all of artistic  entertainments, expecting to develop the trade business of unique products between Japan and other countries.

 Recently Nishi Tokyo welcomed 8 governors and 3 supporters (photographer, journalists  and interpreter) from the Ministry of Culture of Thailand, to promote mutual cultural interaction.

There is a management team composed by 13 board members. Mrs. Okauchi is one of the board members.

She graduated at the top of her class from the Piano Department of Tokyo University of Music and is an active teacher at various music schools. As of today, she is operating her own “Music Studio Jun”, where she sells her original songs of score music sheet and provides singing lessons for aspiring young Opera singers.

This time, Mr. Yuttana's daughter, Miss Paopao, processed the character logo into an illustration style to make your embroidery works easier. There are four places to embroider. (Please communicate with Mr.Yuttana for details)

The challenge this time is to enhance the specifications of the interior in detail. Also, since it is a large bag, durability is necessary. The opening will be folded inward and doubled (※2 photo attached). Mrs. Okauchi hopes to create a luxurious product by using upcycled genuine leather for the accessories to promote REMAKER’s social activity to reuse the available materials.

Mrs. Okauchi sells her original music score on Amazon online shop. When the Krajood Bag is completed with high quality, additional production will be done and it will be sold on Amazon.

Mrs. Okauchi is also involved in support activities for the visually impaired. Miss Natsuki Hashimoto (※3 photo attached), who was born blind since birth, was the first blind student to enroll at Tokyo University of the Arts to open the door for disable persons, and letting us to enjoy the happy life through song.

SHIMAPRO plans to sell Mrs. Okauchi's Krajood Bag on Amazon and to encourage Mrs. Okauchi to add new  characters besides her “Cat” to expand the embroidered family. Additionally, we are planning a charity sale at Miss Hashimoto's opera concert hall.

In concert hall, we plan to introduce the history of the Krajood village in Phatthalung, and the biology of  Teacher Arunee and her apprentices, by displaying photos on panels.

The key points this time are whether the interior fabric can be dyed wine red when you die the Krajood bag, and also whether the complex interior construction can be beautifully completed, and to create a new bag that no one has seen before, by using upcycled leather.

 Please make the other specifications as per the paper mockup. Pay attention to ensure that it doesn't become too small so that it can fit B4-sized files. Also, fold the opening inward and double it to maintain strength.

Mr. Yuttana will finish the interior and the leather accessories in BKK when he receives your bag.

(2) [Starting : Basket (S) ] Brown

A colleague of my wife at the Tokyo Public Health Center is a fan of Krajood bags. Her name is Mrs. Kawasato. She is a promotional staff member who recommends Krajood bags to her acquaintances. She introduced the bags to her friend living in Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture, and I received order. The design of embroidery was “just” finished by Paopao on Jun. 6 and you will receive order sheet and photo from Mr.Yuttana.

This customer owns six dogs. Initially, she placed an order for a Krajood bag with cat embroidery to give as a gift to a friend. If this is successful, she is expected to make additional purchases featuring her six dogs.

  • [Starting soon for customer in USA : A4 ] Natural

A former senior friend of SHIMAPRO, aged 68 now placed an order from Arizona for his wife, USA. He is the founder of WORLD NUTRITION USA and has been very successful. He sells enzyme supplements. Once the bag is successfully completed, I would like to propose a Krajood case to hold the supplements. Since the entire United States is the market, a very large demand is expected. The image has been decided. Production will start once Miss Paopao has illustrated it (maybe finishing by middle of June).

(4)Please introduce original models of Arunee teacher design bags

Currently, the basket type comes in three sizes: (S), (M), and (L). I believe the (M) size is the most popular. The A4 bag was completed and the customer is very happy, thank you. We will expand by adding the B4 vertical size.

I believe you have models you have made before, so please introduce some models you have developed before to save time to develop the similar design.

(5)[Scheduled Radio Appearance on October 16, 2024]

SHIMAPRO will be appearing on FM radio to advertise Krajood bag. I will introduce the village of Phatthalung and after radio program I will hold an exhibition on October 20.

I aim to have many people visit the exhibition and place orders. I will order some models (only natural color and w/o embroidery) to  increase the variety of models, and order some pcs in advance to shorten the production lead time.

Depending on the response to the radio appearance, we will consider appearing on the radio again around February or March next year to take orders for the summer of 2025.

(6) [Recruiting Bag for girls who are seeking employment]

SHIMAPRO is planning to create basic business bags for students at the job placement offices of universities in the Tama area of Nishi-Tokyo, and later promote to other prefectures nationwide in Japan.

 I believe the job hunting activity in Thailand is different from Japan’s one. In Japan, 100% of students are wearing "black suits" or “Navy” and "black bags" account for 99%. Since students don't have much money, most of them use nylon or PU bags.

While branded PU business bags use high-quality Italian PU, and the weight of bag is about 800g.

I believe that a lighter and more durable bag could be produced by you.

The reasons for considering business bag for job hunter with Krajood are as follows:

  • Light weight
  • Fashionable
  • Unique

Specifications for the interior will be decided later as it is for putting in a laptop, documents, wallet, smartphone, and pen case. Please consider this B4 size as an experiment for additional similar business bag. We are planning three price ranges based on the specifications.

Since it is a business bag for fresh business woman to enter the company after graduation, please understand that there won't be any flashy embroidery. The color will be a BLACK or NAVY only.

While customized embroidered bags are made by order, it will be said personal customized bag.

This Recruiting Bag is not customized. It will be distributed through Department Stores and other chain stores, as finished products, so it will not be very complicated and it will be easy handling for you.

The students girls have parents.  The students maybe have sisters. The mothers of students are indirect target who may be interested in ordering mother’s bag of Krajood. I will make story of Phatthalung village and Krajood  to give specific information for students who answer to interviewer why they use Krajood bag instead of ordinal business bag. The students will answer, “it will support the business of Phatthalung” and “effective to follow the big vision of United nation’s agreement issued in 2015”.

(7) [Color Swatch of Krajood] Usable for Coasters

I would like to prepare color swatches of Krajood. Ultimately, we will finish them with upcycling leather binding at Mr. Yuttana's factory in Bangkok.

In Phatthalung, for example, you can weave and dye large sheets (B4 or A3 size). You will then send large sheet to Bangkok and Mr.Yuttana will cut into coaster size and finish it  by binding of sewing machine.

These will be used as color samples when we open POP UP store to let customer to choose the color and also customer can buy this coaster.

(8) [Small Embroidery Parts]

I understand the job style of your Krajood village is making body to dye color, and embroidering on them.

We don’t have sisal leave in Japan, and this is the next product to promote after Krajood.

There are other companies in Japan that is importing and selling Sisal Bags from Africa. (※5 Photo attached)

These companies customize the embroidery in Africa. I believe that the embroidery technique and quality of ARUNEE VILLAGE is far surpasses, better than that of other companies, so if you can supply small embroidery part to Miss Nuchun to complete Sisal bag, it will be very new and fresh bags in Bangkok and Japan market.

SHIMAPRO plans to add value by your embroidery onto her SISAL BAG. Miss Nuchun has developed Mr. Yuttana's designs successfully in 2023. If we can supply the embroidery parts, you can increase sales turnover.

By the way, one of SHIMAPRO's customer in Japan is interested in ordering “hand-embroidered parts” to sew onto wallets and coin purses (made of leather). Can you make small parts of embroidery? Please consider.

Besides leather wallets, there is a manufacturer who is producing wallets and coin cases by Japanese paper (WASHI). (※6 Photo attached) WASHI PAPER is paper made from Japanese-specific trees. The finished products is made of WASHI PAPER and Thai embroidery. Machines embroidery is very popular in Japan but Hand-embroidery is not available, so I think hand made warm job will attract customers to feel sympathy to your artisans.

SHIMAPRO plans to develop new products by integrating Japanese product (WASHI) and Thai product (EMBROIDERY) to sell to worldwide market.

I believe that products with warm craftsmanship derived from similar cultures and arts in both Thailand and Japan can contribute to sustainable life of people, as advocated in the United Nation’s SDGs.

To develop a new third product based on the similarity between the two countries, the power of ARUNEE VILLAGE is important and necessary for us. I am thinking of carrying over this business to the young generation and Khun Namufon as a leader of team to return our gratitude to Rama IX (9 Bhumibol) who guided you to this business.

(9) [Order Timing and Delivery Date]

SHIMAPRO accepts orders by the 15th of every month and places orders at the end of the month or the following month. If an order is received by the 15th, I believe it will take about two weeks to fix the design of embroidery. (This is basic regulation, and please accept exceptional case if I order)

In other words, orders will be placed with ARUNEE VILLAGE around the 5th to 10th of the month. It is difficult to determine if we can consistently place orders every month without trying, but this means that I receive the order at the exhibition on October 20 will be placed around November 5th – 10th.
